Buick Century Custom Coupe specs: 1976-1977
The coupe version of the Buick Century Custom broke away from the swooping lines of the sedan and station wagon, as well as the previous year’s coupe. This time the overall appearance was boxier and had different lighting arrangements. Like on the base 1976-1977 Century coupes, the ‘Custom’ version had a more aerodynamic nose than the Regal coupe. It did however get to keep the same formal roof that the Regal had, whereas the base Century coupe still had the fastback styling. This allowed t-tops on the option list for the Century Custom Sport Coupe.
